  • Animal Trainer

    Animal Trainers train animals to perform work, entertain or serve as companions. Regardless of the type of animal they train or purpose of the training, Animal Trainers do many of the same tasks.

  • Basic Ambulance Assistant

    The Basic Ambulance Assistant will help the rest of medical emergency team to stabilise the patients and treat them for shock, fractures and wound. Specialised equipment and rescue tools are often used to free a person from wreckage

  • Beautician

    The Beautician or Health and Beauty Technologist is responsible for giving clients advice, not only with regards to beauty related matters, but also with regard to matters promoting a healthy lifestyle.

  • Cabin Attendant

    Cabin Attendants are responsible for the safety of airline passengers from time they board the aircraft until they disembark at their destination. They also act as the airlines hosts to the passengers and ensure their comfort.

  • Educare Worker

    Educare workers look after children between the ages of 2 and 5 years at home or at nursery schools. The day is pre-planned and the Educare Worker works according to a timetable and pre-school curriculum.

  • Employment Recruiter

    Employment Recruiters work in recruitment companies or human resource departments. Their job is to recruit and screen prospective employees or match job seekers with available employment opportunities.

  • Fireman

    The Fireman is responsible for saving the lives of people in danger. Other primary responsibilities include the extinguishing of fires and fire prevention.

  • First Aid Worker

    First Aid Workers normally work for organisations such as the Red Cross or St Johns Ambulance. They are trained to react fast and efficiently in any emergency situation

  • Fitness Trainer

    Fitness Trainers usually work at gyms and sports clubs. They show people how to properly use fitness equipment and assist sports people to enhance their performance.

  • Hairdresser

    Hairdressers render a service to their clients by washing, cutting, perming, colouring, straightening or styling their hair.

  • Human Addiction Counsellor

    Human Addiction Counsellors help people to overcome alcohol, drug, gambling and other dependencies. They provide treatment in a variety of settings including hospitals, private and public treatment centres and private practice.

  • Human Resource Manager

    Human Resource Managers, plan and direct policies about employees. In large companies they also work in one of several areas. These include employment, pay and benefits or labour relations. Their tasks are many and varied.

  • Nurse

    Nurses care for patients who are ill or injured. Nurses work with patients in doctors’ consulting rooms, in private hospitals as well as in public health facilities such as government hospitals and clinics.

  • Oral Hygienist

    Oral Hygienist are concerned with the promotion of oral health and the prevention of dental disease. They work under the supervision of a Dentist and may work in a Dentist’s private practice, or in state hospitals, clinics or schools.

  • Preacher

    Preachers provide spiritual leadership to the religious community. Ministering takes many different forms, from officiating over regular Sunday services, weddings, baptisms, funerals, to visiting the sick and providing counselling services.

  • Security Officer

    Security Officers can specialise into a number of fields. These include access control, Banking Security, Airport Security, Commercial Security or the protection of assets such as money in transit.

  • Social Worker

    Social Workers are professionally qualified people who aim to solve social problems related to poverty, crime, violence, illness and anti-social behaviour. They work closely with health care and social service providers.

  • Sports Coach

    Sports Coaches assist sports people to enhance their skills and fitness in order to perform better and be more competitive on the sports field. Sports Coaches may also have some administrative duties and may meet with the school or university to discuss budgets, training and schedules.

  • Teacher

    Teachers teach specific subjects to learners who are between 7 and 20 years of age. They use methods of lecture and presentation to teach subjects such as history, maths, science, life skills and languages.

    Tour Operators in South Africa sell tour packages to local and overseas travel agents then in return sell it to tourists. A complete tour plan, including the places to be visited and accommodation is worked out beforehand.
