Fitness Trainers usually work at gyms and sports clubs. They show people how to properly use fitness equipment and assist sports people to enhance their performance.
They test an individual’s fitness level and work out the most appropriate exercise programme. These programmes may also address individual needs, for example a person who has knee problems would most likely be advised to do low-impact aerobic activities.
In addition, Fitness Trainers often educate people about healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices. They may put together eating plans for clients and monitor their weight loss. They advise clients about proper workout clothes and shoes. They also act as Aerobics Instructors and facilitate fitness classes. They plan routines for participants to follow and ensure that all muscles are exercised.
