The Tool Room Manager has a strong line management function and are responsible for co-ordinating all tool room activities.

Competent managers will ensure that all responses-human and infrastructure- are optimally and efficiently utilised. Their duties include the analysing and co-ordination of the logical functions of the manufacturing plant. They are responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery and final disposal of resources. Toolroom Managers’ primary goal is to plan the production schedule to fit within specifications, budget and time limits.
