Interior Designer are artistic people who design and finish the interior of private homes as well as public and commercial buildings such as offices or hotels. They may even design the inside of boats, planes, or other enclosed spaces. Interior Designers plan additions or the renovation of building on behalf of clients. Some interior Designers specialise in furnishing private homes or in particular rooms of homes, such as kitchens or bathrooms.

Interior Designers first meet with clients to learn what they want. They consider the client’s tastes, style preferences, budget, and safety needs.

Interior Designers draw sketches and submit proposals or plans to the client with regards to style, colour schemes, materials, lights, curtains and furnishings. When the plan gets final client approval, Designers may oversee the subcontractors who do the work.
