Fashion Designers use creativity, skills and training to design clothes for specific occasions according to prevailing fashion styles and trends are usually linked to seasons, events such as films or music or people.
Fashion Designers try to capture the mood of society. They create a “Look” and design accessories to complement and reinforce the total concept of the lock.
Fashion Designers usually specialise in a particular field such as menswear, eveningwear, daywear, or sportswear. After designing a particular line of clothing, the fashion Designer supervises the creation of the first garment. He or she may still fine-tune the design at this stage. Once the design has been finalised the garment is ready to be mass-produced in clothing factories. Some Fashion designers specialise in the design of clothing for individual people or exclusive boutiques.
Fashion Designers may also be involved in the design of patterns and the making and marketing of clothes.
