Engineering Analysts create computer simulations of the material conversion process. This is a cost of studying and testing the characteristics and performance of a product without physically manufacturing it.

Engineering Analysts use many tools and techniques to do this, including computers with advanced three dimensional simulation software, drafting tools and statistical software. They may also design systems that simulate, demonstrate, simply and coordinate process involved in the production of goods.
