As awareness of global warming and climate change increases, people are paying more attention to their energy use.

Energy Auditors evaluate the usage of energy through an in depth investigation. They use their expertise in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technologies to inspect the energy usage in the building, which can be a home or commercial building. They need to understand the interactions between energy systems within a building. Energy Auditors also analyse the client’s water and electricity bills.

After the audit, Auditors write a report of their findings. The report will suggest to the customers which improvements, like insulation or heating system upgrades, can be made to use less energy. Energy audits are also done to improve health and safety conditions for the occupants of a building.
